Marketing and Audience Engagement

Running the baseball Instagram account helped me develop a strong understanding of audience engagement, branding and the business side of media. I created graphics, game updates and promotional content designed to increase interaction and keep students, parents and players connected to the program. Through managing the account, I learned ways to impact engagement and provide for the audience, while also recognizing the importance social media has on a brand. This experience showed me how effective and original content can build an identity and use that to connect and reach its audience.

Commitment To Diversity

Volunteering at Bridge the Gap improved my understanding of diversity by allowing me to work closely with kids  from backgrounds and experiences different from my own. This experience gave me a broader perspective on the challenges and experiences others may face and reinforced the importance of creating inclusive environments where everyone feels supported. It also showed me that many of these kids do not have access to the same opportunities and resources that others may take for granted, and that small acts of support and mentorship can make a huge impact.
